How Hocuwa works
A practical guide to listing, browsing, negotiating, buying, bidding, and reviewing on Hocuwa.
Classified and marketplace workflow
For sellers
1. An account holder creates a listing
A Private or Business account can sell within its membership limits. Choose the category, add item details and media, set the location, and choose fixed price, open to offers, or an available auction.
2. Buyers browse and enquire
Buyers search by keyword, category, price, country, pricing type, item details, or seller. Each listing keeps the important details in one structured page.
3. The price is agreed
A buyer uses fixed-price checkout, negotiates an offer, places a qualifying auction bid, or uses Auction Buy Now when the seller has enabled it.
4. Payment and collection are recorded
The buyer pays through Stripe, the parties arrange physical handover, and the buyer confirms collection. Hocuwa schedules the seller's net payout after the configured checks and delay.
5. Buyer reviews build seller trust
After an eligible paid transaction, the buyer can leave one seller rating and optional review. Reviews contribute to the seller's public rating and trust score.
Boosting and visibility
Sellers can use listing boosts when their membership includes boost credits. Separate advertising placements around the homepage, listings, and blog are managed by the Hocuwa team; plan advertising or co-marketing entitlements are arranged operationally rather than through a seller self-service campaign screen.
Your account preferences
Account settings cover profile and farm/company information, password updates, email preferences, MFA, verification, payout connection for sellers, and account deletion controls.
